I am here, Jesus.
There has been discomfort about the fact that in the
Padgett messages and in later related channelings, harsh
language has often been used to describe human behavior.
Let me address this important issue.
Reality on this side of life is so very different from life on
Earth. And that is because everything here is naked, and spirits
show forth, from their very appearance, their true soul condition.
I mention this because some have felt that their Savior, and his
followers, would not at all use this type of language, since he
would be coming from a place of love and acceptance.
Well, I and my Angel friends do indeed accept mortals as
they are. But the Padgett messages raised a red flag to
let people know the penalty of sin and error. The
messages' central theme is the Divine Love, and how It
transforms a sinful mortal into a Celestial Angel. In that
process, people have to come to terms with their sins and
errors. The messages are a way of guiding them on that
path. We cannot in good conscience ignore these sins and
errors, for they are the obstacles, the barriers to soul
fulfillment.
For example, in my channeling on abortion of March 4,
2007, I refer to it as "a terrible sin." A church
colleague objected, since the basis of his objection was
the experience of a lady friend in seemingly impossible
circumstances.
I tried to make it clear in that channeling that each case
is unique, with its own set of motives and circumstances.
But I could not in good conscience condone abortion, since
the living reality in the spirit world is that it indeed
is a sin, even though certain conditions have made that
choice possible. I emphasized the importance of the
motives, and the example of mothers who chose to bring the
child to life and not terminate its existence.
There is that old expression, when there is a will, there
is a way. And so, with the will engaged, other solutions
can be found.
It has often happened that a person feels strongly about a
certain issue, and when that person confronts that issue
in the spirit world, the reality is entirely different,
and often unpleasant and, yes, harsh.
