I am here, William Shakespeare.
In my channeling of August 13, 2007, Childhood
and Adolescence, I mentioned that when I wrote the famous "Tomorrow,
and tomorrow, and tomorrow" speech from Macbeth, I was thinking
about the death of my eight-year-old sister.
I did not wish to imply that I saw my sister as an "idiot,"
as the Macbeth quote indicates. No, what motivated me to write that
was a sense of the utter futility of this "brief candle"
of a life. Having had a sister die in childhood, I naturally perceived
death in a negative way. And this being my first exposure to death,
the quote was the natural evolution from this early source.
