I am here, Jesus.
Let me comment on what has perplexed you for a long time. You
are reading about the Sufis and their doctrine of merging, at one
with God. You are confused because the more you progress in the
Divine love, the more intact is your sense of yourself, when you
have read that so many teach that we must lose ourselves in God.
Well, actually, both statements are true. That is, we find our
individuality, our self-expression, in God.
But it is a fact that spirits always retain their individuality,
even in the Celestial Heavens. We Celestial Angels are completely
at one with God, and everything we do centers around the Divine
Will. And yet we greet each other and recognize each other as unique.
So you need not be confused. The Sufis and others are emphasizing
the need to abandon the selfish ego, which separates people from
life. They are teaching the necessity of seeing oneself as an intimate
part of the cosmos and of God.
