I am here, Jesus.
I wish now to discuss this ongoing battle in your soul between
wanting to speak what you perceive to be the truth about orthodox
Christianity, and a desire to be silent and not offend or cause
division and inharmony.
The truth is itself alone. Essentially, it has nothing to do with
pleasing people. People have believed error in all good faith. Does
this make the error true?
Another major factor to consider is that the idea of salvation
by my crucifixion and by my blood is completely untrue, and has
done more damage and harm to spirits than almost anything else.
Of course, it is sin that makes spirits suffer - I was referring
to beliefs and attitudes.
The central idea for you to ponder as you wrestle with this conflict
is, whom do you want to please most, people or God? For many years,
you desired the former.
So it's important that you be clear that you wish to please God
first and foremost. No one can advise you here. You have to make
your peace with it yourself.
