I am here, Benjamin Franklin.
Let me give you my thoughts on what David Korten has said about
us founding fathers. He is, of course, correct. We advanced the
cause of freedom, while we also protected our interests. We had
a sense of entitlement based on our education and our intelligence.
But I still say that there was indeed something higher that occurred.
We have all by now realized our limitations. Indeed, we saw these
limitations while mortals.
