Yes, the attempt [in the Henry James Sr. channeled message] was to express something
positive about Swedenborg's original writings.
Technically, that sentence is incorrect ["But if you
read
these messages carefully, you will realize that they do
not negate all the Truth he revealed, even though the
greater Truth was not revealed."], since there is no
positive reference.
There are indeed descriptions of the spirit world that
had
never occurred before. But it requires discernment to
distinguish the false from the true.
You did channel James correctly, who
has
his own take on it. It is understandable that he would
feel this way, since Swedenborg was an important part of
his earth experiences. And even though he unlearned
certain things, he retained his love for Swedenborg over
here.
