I am here, Ralph Waldo Emerson.

As I wrote through Mr. Padgett, so I write through you - all love is divine, since love comes from God.

I am heartened that you are enjoying reading my essays. You are trying to find your place in American thought as a mystical poet, and you feel a kinship with me because of my own mystical sense. I note that you are not turned off to me just because I don’t believe as you do. But in one sense you do, for you also believe in a mystical oneness with life, which was the core of my philosophy.

I feel friendly toward you and wish to bless you and help you in your life journey. I wish to repeat that no harm will come to you, for there are so many powerful spirits constantly by your side.

As Humanity progresses, the accumulated wisdom of the past will play an increasingly important role in the contemporary world. This is already happening.

So, my young friend, keep up your hopes, and have faith in your dreams, for they will come true.

Your friend, Emerson.

Ralph Waldo Emerson (May 25, 1803–April 27, 1882) was an American author, poet, and philosopher. Emerson was born in Boston, Massachusetts, to the Rev. William Emerson, a Unitarian minister in a famous line of ministers. He gradually drifted from the doctrines of his peers, then formulated and first expressed the philosophy of Transcendentalism in his essay Nature. (Source : Wikipedia)
