I am here, Jesus.
Now that you have some objective perspective about what
happened at the coffee hour, you realize that you were
trying to break a barrier that has bedeviled Christian
churches almost from the beginning - the inability to see
the human body and its pleasures as from God.
Let me emphasize and affirm that this does not at all work
against the Padgett messages, which had to come through
the way they did. They had to emphasize the bad effect of
overindulging the physical appetites because that is the
cause of sin. It was the context of that particular
revelation that necessitated that emphasis.
Once that was accomplished, the way was made clear to
affirm the body and its pleasures in an appropriate way.
Admittedly, it was not the most graceful approach, but
your intention had a godly motive.
