Dear God, If I’m in condition to channel a message
from Your ministering angels, I’d like to be of service to
you in this way. I pray for a great inflowing of Your Divine Love
at this time. I want to know the truth. Please help me put aside
my forethoughts so I may channel the angels’ message clearly
and without interference. I love You and appreciate this opportunity
I’m being given to help others and myself in our spiritual
growth. AMEN
Thank you for responding to our desires to channel our thoughts
in writing on this fine day. We have been waiting for you to be
willing to sit for a message. As we have said on many occasions,
there is much we desire to say to God’s children who are seeking
earnestly to come closer to Him in His Nature of Love. We are aware
that humankind is generally caught up in the daily grind, so-to-speak,
which does not allow enough energy or desire to seek outside the
general flow of life’s vicissitudes to find the blessings promised
by a Loving Creator. People often feel helpless to change their
status quo; they think it requires more effort on their part, more
concentration, more learning, and they are at a loss as to how they
will be able to pull more out of themselves than they are already
doing.
But the message is that they need to learn to relax and trust in
the Powers that Be to bring them up to higher levels of awareness,
that they can’t get there through their own efforts. It’s
like the harder one tries the further behind he gets because the
way to spiritual enlightenment and growth is surrendering to God’s
will and that requires “muscles” most people have not
learned how to use yet. Developing spiritual muscles entails looking
within to find peacefulness – prayer and meditation are the
rule-for-the-day, learning to commune with your Loving Creator and
learning to trust that God Loves you and wants you to be happy and
fulfilled.
The happiness and fulfillment that God has in store for His children
doesn’t come with material possessions, it is a joyfulness
that comes only with love. The peacefulness people are seeking will
not be found in fighting over a piece of land, and it still will
not be obtained if or when they have all the land they think they
need to make them happy.
In order to follow your heart’s desires, it is done the way
the phrase implies: through seeking with your heart. Surrender your
control over things; know that spiritual fulfillment comes through
Love. Accept yourself as a child of a Loving Parent and great joy
will be in store for you as you seek with sincerity to become the
person God created you to be.
The only thing which makes this complicated for you is that you
believe it is up to you to carve out your place in the world and
prove that you are worthy of these blessings. You are worthy of
God’s blessings when you are born; you can receive these blessings
by simply accepting them and looking to the Source for your sustenance,
guidance, and upliftment of spirit.
Because you know that you are soul, then you can clearly see the
need to develop your awareness of your spiritual nature and what
it takes to develop the same. Your soul does not develop its “muscles”
when your body does, for example. Spiritual strength requires material
surrender and faith in the power of God’s Love to help raise
your consciousness. There is strength in spirit. There is power
in Love to change even the material aspect of your beings. In fact,
you cannot change the material aspect without first changing the
spiritual and bringing it into alignment with the laws which govern
the higher purpose of your being – your soul, as a child of
a Loving Creator.
We do understand that life in the flesh and predominately material
world requires lots of energy and focus on things that you feel
are important, but where you often fail is to acknowledge that if
you would put at least half of your time and energy into prayer
and recognize that you are a spiritual being, the power and peace
which would then flow from your inner energy would bless your material
lives in much greater proportion than half. The intent of this message
is to help you want to stop dwelling in the material and stop thinking
that it is up to you alone to get things done, to make things work
out to your advantage through physical effort. The effort that is
more effective in bringing peace and joy into your life is your
effort to become the loving soul God created you to become.
It perhaps sounds too simplistic for you to believe it will work,
especially since you have believed in accomplishment through work
ethics, but I can assure you that if you will discipline yourselves
to trust God to guide you and know that your strength lies in your
surrender to His will, you will be pleasantly surprised the way
your life experiences will unfold in peaceful and joyous ways.
I don’t believe that I have introduced any new concepts in
this channeling, but I implore you to put these principles into
practice on a more regular basis so you can prove to yourselves
that they indeed will work in your behalf.
I will leave you now with my blessings and thank you for allowing
me to convey my thoughts through you this morning.
I am your friend and brother in Christ and Jesus’ brother,
James, one of your guardians, who has been given the privilege to
serve my Loving Father by showing His children the Way toward at-Onement
with Him.
He blesses all of us with His Love, it is up to each of us to accept
this Gift with open arms and heart and receive the blessings He
wants to share with His children. Amen.
