Genesis - the creation of mankind.

The story of Adam and Eve has led to much debate over the years, and also led to the concept of original sin, the need for baptism, and the concept of man being basically sinful. Others believe this proves women are to be subordinate to men, and yet others that man never awoke after the creation. It is also clear that the mortal body may well have evolved over a very long period of time, but the gift of a soul was an instantaneous event, and the point at which man became conscious of himself and his Creator.

The creationists are primarily those who hold a fundamentalist view of the Bible, and based on that view they believe the world is 6,000 years old. Read these messages below to see how different it really was. However these messages do not dispute that a spiritual being called man was created. Merely that the description in the Bible is simplistic. One must needs distinguish between the physical body, which is of animal origin, and the soul, which is of spirit. Together these create a human - the spiritual being. It does appear however, that "the spark of life" which causes the beginning of animal life for a foetus, is a creation event.

In a message (June 1999) Jesus indicated that man was created by God about 70 million years ago (although it is likely that this period is overstated in respect of this earth), and that the fossil evidence that indicates evolution is correct in as much as after the fall man rapidly declined to close to being an animal. The fossil records correctly indicate the slow path back. If we accept that man has a soul that survives death, and is the only creature in our world to be so blessed, it matters little whether the mortal body evolved or was created instantly. Only when a soul was implanted was a spiritual being called man created. And that was an instantaneous event, although the soul may well have been very much older.

In 2007 Jesus has confirmed that evolution is correct, and that Padgett was biased in his original messages that suggested all but man was a product of evolution. In fact Padgett was not wholly wrong, in that creation events do occur that impact evolution, and even the life of a single human. The spark of life at conception, is a creation event. Things are rarely as black or white as many folks seem to prefer. And a very recent message from one of the angelic beings that oversee life on this planet indicates that creation events are authorised to guide evolutionary paths. In other words, evolution is interfered with, when necessary. This is one of the criticisms that have been levelled at Darwin's theory. There are physical organisms that do not appear to have had any evolutionary path.
