Mary: Mr. Padgett’s selection and his free will.

I am here with you, my dear sister in Christ, and I am Mary, the mother of Jesus, and your guardian angel. I would ask you to consider the nature of God and how God has worked His Spirit of Love upon you, my children, for you will come to understand better through the development of your sentient soul perceptions, how this love works in your life and the lives of others.

With regard to the question of whether it was predetermined by God and Jesus that James Padgett would be an instrument, my answer is, as you may expect, only insofar as there was the utmost consideration of his free will and that of the Master.

Let me explain how we may determine information being of a certainty and how we balance that with the knowledge of free will. You may understand that there are certain laws of the universe which work unfailingly, over and over again, so as to give an observer the sense that that law being observed will never fail to operate. When we are developed in the nature of Love Divine, the Substance of the Soul of God, we are able to perceive the immutable workings of laws upon the souls and minds of mankind. Remember that we are the creation, and it becomes entirely possible to perceive the nature of the human soul in many of its aspects and how that soul functions within the confines of spiritual laws.

So where you may be somewhat limited in your ability to observe these laws at work and the forces that are in operation which effect the actions of a man and a woman, we are not so confined and have the ability to look into the very heart of you, as it were, and see clearly who you are and what you desire and how the laws function within your life with consideration to your soul development.

As you know also, you are the created child of God who has the appetites and desires of a being created in the Spirit of Love and it is true that there is at work an unfailing effort on the part of every soul to improve its lot in life. This seems to not be true from mere material observation, but I assure you, given all the influences that are at work in one’s life, body, mind and soul, this attempt works unfailingly. This is in direct response to the Law of Eventual Harmony which operates on a natural love level and needs no further assistance to operate than the mere exercise of the free will, for a human soul not to aspire beyond its limitations, whatever they may be, is like being born and refusing to breathe.

So given that we are developed in the soul qualities of love and faith, it is that much easier to determine the nature of man and woman and how they will choose with respect to the influences at work in his or her life. Padgett was of a development that made it clear to us that he was capable of developing his love to the degree that would enable him to receive the messages that he did, and it was clear to us for some time, even before Helen’s passing into the spirit. But as we always consider the free will, our efforts were merely to encourage him to consider the possibility of developing his spiritual nature through receiving Divine Love. It was a help having Helen’s encouragement, for his love for her was very deep and enduring and he wanted to be able to join her in the spirit world.

I hope the ability of your soul perceptions enable you to use this information and that it has helped in some way.
