I am here, Jael.

You are wondering, if I witnessed the death of my parents at an abnormally advanced age, doesn’t that also mean that I myself did the same? Well, I did live a very, very long time as well, but my last years were clouded with illness and incapacity.

Though I inherited longevity from my parents, I did not have exactly the same type of physical stamina that they had. Indeed, none of their children did. But yes, my life was also unusually lengthy.

My parents had me after their physical youth. My mother was able to conceive and bear children at a much older age than is common now. Her hormonal structure was different.

For many years, no children were forthcoming. So the whole drama of the Fall occurred long before any of their children were born.
