I am here, Jesus.
Let me clarify this for you. You need a broader perspective. Certainly, there have been many Americans who have been ignorant of spiritual truth because they were blinded by error, and by materialism, apathy, and complacency. But that is not the whole story. Even before the current economic troubles, there were many Americans who could discern spiritual truth, and even though they were not in the majority, they represented your country just as much as those who were blind.
Now that most Americans are struggling economically, many have come to see life differently, beyond the distorting prism of materialism. So what was originally intended to cow the populace into submission has become a shining tool of the Celestial Kingdom, and we will use our power to do God’s Will in helping your country to be true to the best of its founding mission.
