Yes, you are correct; I want to convey some words to you.
You have just read that I said, when I formed my company, the South Improvement Company, “it was right. I knew it as a matter of conscience. It was right between me and my God.”
I died in this belief, and it brought me serenity as my soul left my body to partake of eternity. But that was not the opinion of God. In fact, what I have experienced completely contradicted my belief, for I inherited great darkness, and many spirits came to me with their hatred, and I have had to endure it.
It helps my soul to send a warning to mortals: if you hurt others in your business pursuits, you will reap the whirlwind.
