The Death of Moses

I am here, Moses.
I know the Torah says I did not enter the Promised Land because this was a punishment, but the fact is that I knew my time had come. I therefore climbed the mountain and ended my days, at one with Nature and my God.
The idea of a punishment was a later fabrication.
