True Gospel Revealed Anew By Jesus. Volume 3

Bright Star became a friend as a result of a séance that Mr. Padgett attended.

March 30th, 1916.

Received by James Padgett.

Washington D.C.

I am here, Bright Star.

You are surprised to see me, but I have this opportunity and I desire to say just a word.

I am interested in you and your friend (Eugene Morgan) and I want to do whatever I can to help you in every way. Of course, when you hear my voice you feel confident that I am talking, now you must feel just as confident that I can write for I am just as certainly here writing as I was at the séance talking. I say this because I heard your friend say that some spirit may impersonate your spirit friends who profess to write.

I saw the preceding two spirits write and I know that they are both Morgans but a little different in their appearance and conditions. But they are whom they profess to be and I know this for I have seen them many times before with you writing and one of them has been to my séance and talked a little. I of course don’t know anything about the subject of the big noise (Pierpont Morgan) man’s communication but I see that he is in earnest and wants to tell you what he thinks is the truth.

Besides this your wife and the rest of your band are here and they say that the spirits who write are known to them and that they are the spirits of whom they represent themselves to be.

I will come soon and write you as I promised. Come and see me soon and bring the young chief for I like him.

So goodbye,

Your friend,

Bright Star.

Bright Star was a guide at Mrs. Ripple’s séances. This message is probably dated around March to May, 1916, as that is when Pierpoint Morgan gave James Padgett financial advice.
