About his selection by Father for the work

April 11th, 1917.

I am with you and desire to say that you are receiving the love for which you seek in great abundance as you pray for it. I was with you last evening and wrote as you heard. You must believe that you have been selected to do the work of the Father and I tell you that you will perform your duties in a way that will be all that can be desired.

You may at times doubt your ability to met the high expectations that have been revealed that we have as to your efforts. But you will soon realize that you possess powers you now have no conception of. You must pray to the Father for greater inflowing of His Love for you until you receive it in greater abundance, you will not be fitted for this work. You are in a condition of soul that enables us to work with you. So solace yourself with the thought that we are trying to the extent of our powers to help you. I will not write more.

Your brother in Christ,

Luke.
