Ephesians 3:10

Ephesians 3:10 points to the “Heavenly Places” as being the Sphere of Angelic activity, the Celestial Heavens. Ephesians 3:10, “To the intent that now, unto the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God.” The “principalities”, from the Greek word “archon”, referring to the highest beings (rulers); “powers”, from the Greek “eksousias”, meaning: “commissioned officers”, Angels of God. These particular “Heavenly Places” in Ephesians 3:10 are said to be the Second Heaven; although angels have access to the Third Heaven and appear there periodically to report (Job 1:6,2 1; 1 Kings 22:19; Rev. 5:11). To us, everything above the Sixth Heaven (Paradise, the dwelling place of the Perfect Man,) is called the Celestial Heavens; and we usually do not even individually number anything above the third Celestial Sphere, as the distinction between these highest Spheres is extremely thin.
